We tried to think up questions you may have regarding the online community and the information that is located there...
Q: Who is currently listed in the community?
A: If we had your name in the church records, whether it was from our email distribution list, or the printed church directory, we put that information in the community.
Q: What information about me/my family will people see?
A: If someone has been granted access, they will see your names. Then, if you have previously requested to be in the printed church directory (prior to 2006), your home phone number and home address is shown.
Q: Can I change what information about me people see?
A: Absolutely! Once you log into the online community, there is a preferences and privacy page on which you can designate who sees what about you and your family. Also, you can set levels of designation to your information, whether it's everyone in the entire community, to only those in your "groups", to just appropriate church leadership.
Q: What if my information is incorrect?
A: You have full control over your own record. You can edit and add to your family's details.
Q: How do I get into the online community?
A: Go to http://www.cornerstoneva.org/ and click on "Request New Login and Password" (located on the left hand side of the home page.)
Q: I've requested a login and password, when can I get into the online community?
A: Your requests are sent to Andrea at the church office. She will send it to you as soon as her work schedule permits. If you did not receive it within 24 hours, check your spam.
