CORNERSTONE has been nominated for a Presidential Service Award by Community Touch, Inc.
CTI, one of our partners in serving the community, nominated Cornerstone for our help in packing and distributing Thanksgiving dinner boxes, among many other projects over the last year. The middle and high school students led they way, inviting their family and friends to join in the great work of helping provide a Thanksgiving dinner to families who had none.
Our time with Community Touch, Inc. has certainly been a help to them in their fantastic work in the community, but it has been life-changing for us as well, as it has helped us to connect our faith to service, and live out God’s hope and love in the community we live in. We have an ongoing partnership with Community Touch, Inc. and from now through the end of April we are collecting canned goods, and food items to give to families in need. So this story in the community is still going, join with us!
