Location:Memorial Baptist Church, 3455 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA map
Join students in grades 6-12 from churches all over Northern Virginia as we learn how shame affects us and how we find healing through vulnerability and being known and loved - by Jesus and in community. Our time together will include worship, interactive learning practices, mingling with students in our area, and pizza!
Kelsey is a licensed marriage and family therapist and serves with Curt Thompson & Associates. She is passionate about incorporating the concept of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) in her work with individuals, couples, families, and especially with therapeutic groups. She has experience leading retreats and facilitating community groups incorporating the ideas of IPNB and Christian spiritual formation.
We will meet at The Loft / Church office at 3:00PM and carpool to Arlington together. No need to bring any money, the event hosts are providing a pizza dinner. Please RSVP to Nat by Wednesday, October 17th so we can arrange enough transportation.
To RSVP, email Nat Kurzer.
